Originally from the farmlands of Switzerland, now in Quebec, Canada for the past 40 years, his journey through creations and ideas started alongside his father, with sign making, followed by construction, architecture and design as well as music and photography. These disciplines and interests naturally merged with the desire to make art, especially one-of-a-kind concrete/wood furniture and abstract oil paintings.
An artist with a unique path — he’s multi-disciplinary, self-taught (construction, painting and furniture) and bold enough to create his own universe — one where the rules remain unwritten — Zweidler describes himself as an explorer of materials and methods whose works are a blend of his experiences and thoughts.
